The more than 1 million children who will be reached with the Gospel at the new Lake Mac campsite will reap the unique benefits of camping ministry.
The redeveloped Lake Mac will be truly unique, offering unequalled opportunities for Kingdom ministry.
Designed for Gospel effectiveness
Every aspect of the redeveloped site has been designed to enhance gospel ministry and Christian community. Multiple meeting rooms mean small groups can study the Christian message without distractions, especially during bad weather.
Accommodates multiple groups
Ensuited cabins and additional facilities and activities mean that up to five groups will be able to stay at any one time. This will achieve the double benefit of maximising the number of campers hearing about Jesus and maximising the site surplus which, after repaying borrowings, will help fund CRU ministry in schools to reach even more young people.
Ideally located for growth
Lake Mac’s proximity to Sydney, the Central Coast and Newcastle makes it extremely attractive to schools who are looking for a water-based site that comfortably accommodates large school year groups. Furthermore, the contemporary standard of accommodation, facilities and activities will better meet the expectations of teachers, parents and campers, as well as increasingly stringent government regulations.
Showcasing waterfront views
One of the greatest assets of the Lake Mac campsite is its unique waterfront location. The new design and building placement takes advantage of these extensive lakefront views to showcase God’s beautiful creation.
CRU Camps are not only great at bringing people to faith, they are also excellent for building deeper faith, nurturing strong disciples and Christian leaders.
Investing in the Lake Mac campsite is an investment in the faith of young people. So many people have become Christians and deepened their faith on CRU Camps, and we’re excited to see how many more God brings to into His Kingdom at a redeveloped Lake Mac.
